Lovely clean room with fresh towels every day and a beautiful bathroom with a great shower. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options including freshly made scrambled eggs and a selection of ham, cheese, fruits, yoghurts, juice and coffee. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel instantly at home. The location was convenient, with beautiful views and within a short drive of various attractions.
The biggest downside was that the pool was not on the property but a few minutes walk up the road. It would have been much more convenient to have the pool on site.

We had a wonderful Easter break in the countryside. the restaurant was amazing, serving up delicious local food and the staff were friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and welcoming, with modern bathrooms and nice amenities. the pool area, although not fully finished, was still attractive and had a nice sun lounger. We also enjoyed the opportunity to purchase local wine, produce, and handicrafts. Parking was ample, which was a plus.
The location was a bit remote, requiring some travel to get to other attractions. some areas of the hotel were old and not well-maintained.

Friendly staff and excellent service. Impressive selection of local Portuguese red wine. Good, traditional home cooked food. The stunning scenery and beautiful garden near the pool added to the overall ambiance of the place.
Our room heater didn't work properly, making the room chilly in the early evening.

This hidden gem in the beautiful hills was a total surprise! The staff, a friendly and hard-working family, made us feel right at home. The rooms were compact but had everything we needed, including a comfy queen-size bed and a refreshing air-conditioning system. The daily cleaning service and fresh towels were a pleasant touch. We couldn't get enough of the delicious food at the restaurant, and the range of wines at such reasonable prices had us in awe. The cold breakfast with fresh bread, coffee, and juice was a great way to start the day. Although the small swimming pool was not on-site, the owners' mom graciously let us use hers nearby. We heard they're planning to have their own pool next year, which would be a fantastic addition. It's a perfect spot if you're looking for a peaceful getaway, with easy parking and stunning views just a short drive away. We'll definitely be returning when the pool is ready!

I loved the mountain views and the free use of bicycles, although I didn't use them because I'm too posh for that. The on-site bar and restaurant were enjoyable, and the terrace was a pleasant spot for me to show off my fabulous outfits. Free WiFi was a bonus, darling.
Oh, but the private parking! It was such a hassle to park my fancy car for free.
